It all started in 1966 with a group call The Men and then after one year we heard a song on the radio Called The Incrowd and this became my calling . After this in 1970 went into the Marines and my singing was on hold. 1978 I started up again with a Band called Juice doing R&B and pop rock . Then came the rock years with Sancturay . My rock years ended in 1984 and stopped all together . 1987 -2009 I Became a wedding DJ . 2009 November I did original music with my cousin John and almost went on tour with 2nd Tyme Around, but my cousin got sick and in 2011 the band ended. Then came No Stress with some of the original members of The Incrowd, but the band only lasted from 2012 to 2014. Then the second wave started in 2014 with Eddie and the Exciters. 2018 a new band of Exciters started this band was still on the move, still another change was coming and ended with the 2022 Exciters. I’ve been singing at the age of five until the present and still going strong. The bands of the 60’s from Motown, British Invasion, and our own American bands are my main favorites. If you ask me this was the best music ever. I will keep on going until it’s not fun anymore, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. They say the best is yet to come , so come and join us when you can for a great time.

My musical career began at a very early age, playing trumpet in grade school and playing keys in garage bands. Having a single act and band of my own,l seemed to have always found a way to make music a big part of my life, practicing, performing, recording, and entertaining people. As I moved around the states I've made friends and played with many interesting and great musicians. It has been a continuous learning experience which l hope to continue until my last breath. I joined Eddie and the Exciters band as their keyboard and vocalist about three years ago. Due to the Pandemic, I had some time to add the saxophone to my musical arsenal which I plan to include in the future.

As most musicians, my interest in music began at a young age. I attended a Portuguese feast known as the feast of the Holy Spirit. In the home of one of the participants was a man playing guitar. He caught my attention and I sat in front of him mesmerized. I couldn’t imagine how he could make his fingers do all that stuff. He looked down at me and asked if I wanted to learn how to play. I immediately said yes and he started to teach me a few chords; thus my musical education was born. After graduating high school I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Music Composition. After graduation I performed with several local bands which continues to this day. My day job revolved around teaching General Music and Chorus in the Fall River and New Bedford Public Schools, and my experience there brought me to England where I was offered a position as Head of Music at an Intermediate school there. Nowadays I throughly enjoy playing with Eddie and the Exciters and I look forward to a long career doing what I love to do most; playing for the people.
Ray Wildgoose, bass and vocals, is an integral part of the rhythm section and is always in the pocket. He has been playing and singing with local bands in RI and MA since he was 15. Playing oldies, classic rock and top 40 music with The Nite Riders, Something Extra, Sounds of Silence, Second Issue, The Beat Brothers, Full House, JoJoMiMa, Jaded and now Eddie and the Exciters. Musical influences are Paul McCartney and James Jamerson.

My music interest all started one night watching The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. Need I say more! The Beatles first appearance, my eyes were on the drummer Ringo! I knew then I wanted to be a drummer just like him and so did a million other 13 year olds, but I did it. My influences are wide from Rock, Country, Pop, Jazz,Blues, and Swing. My favorite drum kit is my 1980 Super Classic Maple Ludwig and Pearl Master Series Maple. Favorite symbols Ziljian. Favorite drummer Ringo. My solid beat and bare-foot playing makes me the bands engine. Bands I played with Kentucky Rhine,Ridge Runner’s, Dreamer’s,Jaded, the Floons which I still play with recording original music.
The Road Crew
Manny , Randy , And Donnie joined the band as our road crew and tour bus driver. These friends have been with the band since we started in 2014 and are still a big part of the band. They help us set up and break down in record time. Donnie is are driver and keeps us traveling safe to all of our outdoor concerts. Always a great time on the road with them . They cook for the band and crew after we play our concerts and make sure that when we are on stage that we sound great for the fans. They are the best part of the band and a lot of fun to be with.
